A brief history

Vithale is a Black Empowered South African company, founded on the true spirit of Product and Service Quality, Business Integrity and Equality. The company is made up of a multi-disciplinary team, skilled in Panel Wiring & Assembly, Quality & Document Control, Operations & Project Management and Business Administration. We currently do not have in-house Engineering and Testing skills, but do know of reputable companies that supply these services.

We are situated in a secure Business Complex in Meadowdale, Germiston, comprising of a well-equipped factory of about 1000 square meters and 200 square meters of offices.

Speciality

Our speciality has been the mechanical assembly and wiring of Protection schemes, but the past few years have seen us broaden our scope of supply to include Automation and Control subsystems, Switchgear, PLC’s, Junction Boxes, Battery Chargers and AC/DC Panels.

We have a multi-disciplined team capable of building, supplying and installing the above mentioned equipment, as well as cabling and cold-commisioning of Switchgear.

Quality

We have been working to ISO 9000 Standards since 1998 and have been ISO 9001:2000 compliant since March 2004. In May 2009 we were found to be compliant to the latest ISO upgrade, i.e. ISO 9001:2008.

CIDB

Since June 2009, we have been registered with the Construction Industry Development Board and have a 5 EP/PE grading. Our CRS number is 155677.

B-BBEE

Our Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment status affirms our belief in true transformation. We are a certified Level One contributor, earning top score in Ownership, Management, Employment Equity and Enterprise Development. This we achieved from our first verification audit in June 2009, carried out by the SANAS accredited verification agency, Empowerdex.
